The earliest of these comments says:

"As for the Illott [sic] case, it wasn't that suspicion was cast over the Will, it was an Inheritance Act claim. If these people don't know the difference then how are they in these positions? Usually, to get a job you need to know what you're doing, but seemingly not for Law Commission, SRA etc"

This shows the desirability (which might be thought obvious to a lawyer) of getting your facts right before you shoot your mouth off. The Law Commission's paper mentions the Ilott case in a section dealing with "Challenges to a Will after the testator's death". It doesn't suggest that it had anything to do with "suspicion cast over a Will".

As someone who worked at the Law Commission for 13 years, I feel an urge to defend it against nonsense like this. It would be wise to assume that "these people" do know what they're doing.
