Considering that we are trying to make access to, and progression within, the legal profession available to everyone, whatever their background, is it really helpful for the Gazette to describe Lord Justice Burnett as a "a scholarship boy at a grammar school". Presumably it has come as a shock to everyone at the Gazette that those not educated at Eton or Harrow are able to rise to such heights.
