Well said, Anon the Last. So much for the idea that EU regulations are subject to "parliamentary scrutiny" - a myth which has been assiduously propagated by our Europhile anti-democrats. As for the case in hand, are you really implying that we must "search Hansard", like the Bible, to see whether legislation is lawful or not? Or that the Supreme Court can overturn any legislation, secondary or primary, if it doesn't conform to some principles "carefully expounded" by itself? If so, my original point (senior judiciary usurping the constitutional role of executive and parliament) appears to be proved. If not, I have obviously misunderstood you.
