The issue here is not whether access to the civil courts OUGHT to be free of court fees. Most would consider that to be desirable in an ideal world. Many who have given thumbs down to previous comments seem to be proceeding on the basis of a personal preference rather than on the basis of actual law.
The issue is whether civil court fees are UNLAWFUL.
I cannot see how that could be possible unless there is a statutory provision to that effect. If there is one then would someone please provide evidence.
