The old 'weakest necks in Europe' soundbite. As if the UK is some kind of hotbed of benevolence for the modestly injured, Pretty sure this one was discredited a while back - but why let the truth stand in the way of profits eh?

The point is if insurers suspect that a claimant is lying about their injury/illness then why not let a Judge decide? There are plenty of stories about claimants being found to have been dishonest so insurers are seeing success in running these arguments. They have the means to fight fraud, so why do they keep bleating about being taken to the cleaners by fraudulent claims?
