Of course it isn't a coincidence. But if you specifically target one type of action then numbers will increase. Not necessarily because the claims are dodgy but because in this instance people are sold on the idea of recouping something from a ruined holiday.

Along with more claims comes dishonesty that was probably not so obvious before. That doesn't mean you through out the baby with the bath water.

There really seems to be a knee jerk reaction to a report of fraud, and reliance on debunked myth.
