This was a desperately awful tragedy and I feel huge sympathy for those directly involved in it. The terms of reference of the enquiry seem sensible and I am sure Sir Martin Moore Blick will be astute to avoiding 'mission creep'.

I am, however, concerned that there appear to be a large number of others seeking to become involved who did not live in the tower block or had relatives who did, many of whom simply seem to want an opportunity to vent anti-government/establishment feelings.

For example, Ms Vasey mentions concerns at how the wider community was 'treated' in the aftermath of the fire. What does that even mean? If she is trying to make a point about 'social cleansing', why is it relevant to this enquiry?
