I completely agree with comments made and I am pleased that the issue of judicial bullying is now on the agenda. Thank you to Paramjit Ahluwalia and all at GCN for keeping this issue on the hot burner. As pointed out in the article, this effects all areas of litigation and all advocates. It should not be tolerated as 'part of the job' and must be brought to an end. There should certainly be a new code of conduct about such behaviour and it should be vigorously enforced. No matter what the advocate have has said or done, and often this is just being there, bullying, intimidation and petulant behaviour from the Judge is unprofessional and should be stamped out. We should all, as a legal profession, continue to keep the pressure on and push for change.
