Without knowing too much about them although having worked with a few people who are now there( incidentally all very high quality) I think this could be a break through for them. The reason is that it gives them much more solidity- it feels much more than a bunch of sole practitioners. If they can use some of the funds to build up teams for their main lawyers that would have a really positive effect on recruitment and work generation. One of their problems must be that prospective clients will not believe that they have the teams for certain jobs.
