Whilst copying a substantial volume of documents recently I was approached by the "finance director" and asked why I was not copying it so that both sides of the copy paper were used. I said I did not know how to do that in a non-time-consuming way and asked whether he did - he didn't. I then observed that the question he should be asking was why he was paying me a vast salary (ha ha) to stand at a copying machine. He had no answer to that either. If he really wants to save paper he might devise a way of avoiding people creating 20 page email chains and printing them off each time a fresh email is added. That would go a long way to saving costs and the planet.
