Could it be that those who want to resurrect this very dead duck are hoping to make money out of running courses?
Think of the number of times when as an advocate you have quite deliberately allowed yourself to look stupid - in the interest of your client - or decided NOT to cross-examine someone. There can be many reasons for decisions taken on your feet, not all of them capable of evaluation. The standard of advocacy is not yet so hopeless that it needs QASA Mark II. And then there is, of course, the perpetual question of quis custodiet..... Who is going to evaluate the evaluators?
