Good to see a barrister have some understanding of the stifling bureaucracy that solicitors face in dealing with legal aid. Even if you get funding not only do you have to do the work but you have to document at every stage why the work was necessary in order to comply with the requirements of a bunch of clueless pen pushers.

I miss the work but otherwise glad to now be private client only.......
