Just read the full judgment.
Great work by DWF Fraud in Leeds and LV here in getting these fraudsters convicted. I imagine the immediate custodial sentences will send a shiver down the spine of some others considering the same thing.
The judge also found that the alleged hire never even took place- interesting given hire agreements were disclosed. I imagine insurers will be looking very closely at this judgment.
I would suggest all Claimant lawyers who regularly have fraud concerns raised on their cases, consult the judgment.
It is rather odd, working as a defendant lawyer, that the the same Claimant solicitors feature time and time again in fraudulent claims, whereas others never feature. Why could this be?
