As an aside, what is the Law Society doing about this? Nothing, because the uber trendy champagne socialist types who are attracted to the non-jobs that outfits like this provide, are desperate to virtue-signal their bleeding hearts to other quangocrats.

Making a case to explain why clients complain is hard. Much easier to cry a faux tear and explain how you sympathise and how dreadful it is that poor Mrs Bloggs paid £320 to be represented on a small claim and lost. They win brownie points by saying how hard they are working to smash high street solicitors so that law can be more affordable and fluffy and there can be more apple pie.

Indeed the only surprise is that they haven't (yet) suggested the complaints statistics should be aggregated so as to show what percentage of ethnic minority clients have complained and how many of those are trans-gendered / non-binary.

I had an email today from the Law Society, "thanking" me for being a member. I didn't realise I had any choice!
