Whilst ever there are greedy Partners, Directors, investors etc. there will always be extremely overworked lawyers trying to scrape in 5x their salary or more in billings. Having targets that are equivalent to 7 hours per day does not help either, how can that be possible with a proper lunch break to eat and all the meetings that are not billable to clients? The answer do it in you own time at the expense of your family and health because the Partners, Directors, investors etc. don't care so long as they get a massive income that your hard slog has paid for.
