I passed the LSF first time in the late 80s despite also earning my way as a professional sportsperson devoting about 20 hours per week to my chosen sport and competing all over the world. I hasten to add that I am not a genius, that my degree was not in law and my recollection after 30 years is that It wasn't that hard an exam to pass.
