Having an interview with MTA Solicitors a few years ago for a Portal Paralegal role, I was told that we had to wear sensors to monitor where you were in the building at all times so they knew how long you spent away from your desk (at the toilet etc). They also monitored keyboard and mouse strokes.
The target settlement was 40 cases per month, and having done RTA for 4 years now I don't know how that's possible without under-settling claims. I refused the job offer without hesitation.
I couldn't help but think this would have been a palace with this "toxic" atmosphere.
