The claimant did not exaggerate his case. He invented a claim, perjured himself in his statement of truth and forged documents in an attempt to gain a pecuniary advantage by deception. That's not an "exaggeration". If he had been a solicitor then he would rightly have been struck off. If the only consequence is that he loses this case then he has been lucky. He should be prosecuted for forgery as well. This wasn't just a case of over-egging the pudding
