Rahman denied everything, forced the calling of witnesses, had the hearing adjourned once, tried to have it adjourned again, produced five lever arches of documents for no evident reason. And there were two lots of prosecutions because some new stuff had come to light.

There's also the thing that the SDT decides on criminal proof, the electoral court seems to be a weird mix of civil and criminal. So everything has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
