I understand that Mr Tallon was a competent Solicitor with respect to his case work - but the management of the practice was chaotic. It's easy to feel sorry for Mr Tallon, but that is lazy. He blamed the accountant - well, maybe they were partly responsible, how did they sign off on the AR1, and are they now barred from acting as reporting accountants? - then claimed that he couldn't enter invoices on the firm's system (pathetic), then blamed his former partners. Some experts were not paid for over 6 years whilst Mr Tallon continued to make 'not insubstantial drawings'.
Chaos, a disaster waiting to happen.
