Anonymous 14:50 - I totally agree.

I for one, and many I know, spend 60% of our communications on a purchase, just chasing better conveyancing from the selling conveyancer. It is worse than it has ever been.

(The moment contracts arrive by a multiple pdf email I know I am going to face rubbish form start to finish.)

Why is there not any regulation of the actual person allowed to touch a conveyancing file. It is astonishing to be able to say, but.... I can promote our office cleaner tomorrow and let them loose on a conveyancing file. No training is needed.

Sadly, the only changes to conveyancing which are on the horizon are digital and IT ones. Neither are needed - as it is already is near on impossible to have a conveyancer use the instant IT we already
