So we have the General Theory of Relativity, the Special Theory of Relativity and Relativity in Leasehold Valuations.
By comparison the first two are the easier to understand. It should not be so.
If we were to rewrite the LRHUDA 1993 I do not think it is beyond the wit of man to come up with a simple and robust formula for calculating the cost of leasehold valuations. As I said on an early posting it will take a small committee of Surveyors/ Valuers and Lawyers (and in a wider review of the law, Managing Agents) who have knowledge of these matters, and I have volunteered to chair that committee.
