My overrding thought on reading the application for JR is what a great pity it is that the unanimity evidenced between Jewish and Muslem faiths in the context of death cannot be more gainfully manifested in matters of life between the two communities of Israel and Palestine, with consequential benefits to the rest of the civilised world at large.
