Anon 15.08 you may be right.

The position is clarifying. Do a bad thing and you’re out. I can live with that if it’s clear.

However, there may be a downside for those responsible or inactive in doing something (what) about it.

Oddly, there’s a good article in today’s Times Law section on Secondary Stress Trauma. Those, including judges, faced with day to day or exceptional awfulness. Read it, if you can.

Prof Yaffle. Why shouldn’t it? I’ve read the passage as raising a client protection issue. Risk goes beyond the public’s perception of our profession. Which seems to be entirely theoretical.

If my worries are real, the issue is what level of risk is acceptable. Who takes it. And who carries the can if it goes wrong.
