The bottom (sorry) line is that the younger folk can thank their lucky stars that they were not on practice 40 years ago when older lawyers were not backward in venting (sorry) their spleen .....and if they had been in the army - as many then had been- it could be quite fruity. A local solicitor had been a conscious objector and one decorated lawyer always slammed down the telephone after speaking to him with the snarl " f*****g conchie". No safe spaces then.
