Seems doubtful that Ms Truss even believes this nonsense herself. While there might have been a case against solicitors for creating barriers to entry a few decades back, her inclusion of teachers in the "blob" rather gives the game away.

Interesting commentary on where the Tories find themselves these days - attacking the occupational groups who traditionally were the backbone of support for the Tory party. Doctors lawyers and teachers all have good reason to be anti-Tory today.

When their risible negotiating tactics with the EU implode in the next few weeks and Theresa May then tries to sell us a Brexit which is not really Brexit, hopefully we will see the back of Liz Truss & the rest of the Tory blob.
