Peter i think what Stuart is saying is that the Legal Society is a Private body, its not public its not funded by the tax payer, now if those privateers are the only ones who specialise in these private codes, and can come into our public courts to enforce these codes upon the general public, then where is the harm in LIP coming into our public courts and using their private codes back at them;

The whole legal system is on its backside and is trying all ways to obtain money for the courts through one type of extortion or another, and i myself have witnessed so many of these private codes overruled by Magistrates or judges practicing law from the bench, in order to secure fines, so these codes are private and can be changed to suit the courts as and when it suit
