You are right. I suspect those who dont remember getting information perhaps did.
However, it slightly misses the point. People are busy. The purchase or sale of a property is a big event. We know how important the issues are so how do we convey that to our clients so they do read everything-and we are sure they do?
Here’s an idea.
How about charging a proper fee and seeing the clients either in the office or via Skype or Google Hangout so you know they have been informed. Saves on ridiculously large numbers of emails and phone calls.
Face-to-face via modern technology.
