As a Claimant lawyer used to dealing with insurance beyond the RTA/PI world I'll clarify that the latter makes up a fairly small portion of the insurance market. Negligible if anything. Some insurers will of course be more exposed than others in that area but the fact is that insurance is a gigantic, global sector which is interwoven with almost every other industry you can think of. As such I'd be highly surprised if redundancies in RTA claims handling caused even the slightest of ripples beyond the local areas affect.
