Sir Richard Richard @ 14:51

Solicitors have a duty to act in the best interests of their clients.

Sending an unqualified paralegal is not in the best interests of the client.

A Solicitor Advocate should be more qualified than an unqualified paralegal. Why wouldn’t firms allow their Solicitor Advocates to be instructed when they get paid for doing so? If they keep the brief they can claim the AGFS fee, if not then they can charge a standard appearance fee.
