Hang on, I've been there and so I don't have to imagine what it's like. If you look at the judgment, he has been an accredited police station representative since April 2014 and he qualified in November 2015. The firm purportedly specialises in criminal defence work and so it's likely he would have done a heck of a lot of police station cases between April 2014 and June 2016.

Had this been at the beginning of his police station career, it might have been excusable and dealt with by way of such a short suspension. But to do such a stupid thing after (at least) 2 years of representing clients at the police station and to then lie to police about what happened, is unforgivable and surely calls for a much longer suspension or a strike off.
