Lots of talk about evidence from RTA solicitors.

The more pertinent question is where is the evidence to support 95% of Whiplash claims? Does any really believe that a 10 minute examination in a Holiday Inn from a "medico-legal expert" who makes a living doing nothing else is proof of pain, suffering or loss of amenity?

No doubt whiplash injuries exist but why should anyone take a Claimant's word for it without physical evidence? Sadly most of the population are prepared to tell some "expert"-led porkies for 10 mins to pocket a few thousand pounds. I for one dont want to be paying for these blaggards via my own insurance premiums. If you've worked the Defendant side, and I've worked both, you see the patterns.

Look at the mess in Northern Ireland if you want to know how things pan out when the pendulum swings the other way.
