The trouble is that:
"I can be bullied" and
"I can't even protect my own body in circumstances where the law is clearly on my side"
are not things you really want people to know about you when you want to be paid lots of money to fight for them as their lawyer.

James, I understood that there had already been a huge shift at the bar following a shocking report in about 2000? (does anyone know where this can be found?). I think young solicitors were always safer because their work has a financial value.
