*sigh*

Most of my relatives over the age of 17 drive cars, therefore nobody should be allowed to make claims against car drivers.

Just as silly as saying 'some of my family works for the NHS so anyone who helps sue the NHS is a scum-sucking vampire lawyer.' Or words to that effect.

My role, which I take great pride in, is to help folks who have suffered medical negligence. 9 out of 10 fail, but most of those go away understanding why the bad result has not been the fault of the NHS. The 1 in 10 who succeeds, well I can make a big difference to their life and I am very happy to do so.

The funny thing is, which you probably won't want to understand, is that I am most passionate about supporting the NHS. It is an amazing institution with many amazing staff or professionals working there. I personally have never suffered a cock up despite many surgeries, but that doesn't mean it won't happen to others.

I am also with 09:20 on wanting a longer sentence for this chap.
