Anon @9.29:

"So you feel that suing an already under funded PUBLIC service is a worthy occupation."

Yes, absolutely. If you negligently (or deliberately) injure someone they should be compensated fairly and if I help them to get that compensation I deserve to be properly remunerated.

"Knowing the NHS contributions you and everybody else you know make (or at least make) can potentially go to the line the pockets of the CEO of you firm, whilst most front line NHS staff are paid minimum wage because they have a GENUINE desire to be of worth to society "

Martyr complex drivel. By far the vast majority of the people who work in the NHS do so for the same reason people work anywhere else - they get paid for it. If they could get paid more somewhere else, they'd be working there instead. If the job pays minimum wage, it's probably because it's no more taxing and requires no more skill or ability that working in McDonalds or emptying bins for any other large company.

Also, if my 'CEO' (senior partner actually) makes a healthy profit from running his business well, then good for him. That's rather the point of running a business. Hopefully he'll make enough to give me a pay rise and, if he doesn't, I'll happily move to another firm that will.
