She has been a waste of space from the word go. Useless at her job and simply disingenuous when it comes to "having" to apologise. It's not in her nature to do so! It will be good riddance when she goes. I am aware of a case where a taxi driver was accused of rape, found guilty and served 18 months of a seven year sentence before a senior officer in the case admitted that evidence had been witheld. He appealed and the conviction was quashed but returned to the Crown Court for trial. The CPS - for a change! - agreed to offer no evidence and so he was acquitted. Any compensation? NO. Mr. Gove refused it and the Police refused it. Outrageous especially as it was led by the infamous Ms. Saunders.
