In the words of W S Gilbert, "If everybody's somebody, nobody's anybody". With 50% of school leavers now going to university and getting degrees, and expecting top 10% jobs, it doesn't take a genius to conclude that a lot of people are going to be disappointed. Quarts and pint pots springs to mind.
