OK, so who's to say which things and what 'correctly' is. You'll probably say those, ever so selfless, MPs.
But by what rationale should they decide, if they don't think the consensus of society, whom they claim to represent, suits their own perceptions? The only reason I can see for State-sanctioned pairing is so that the State can decide which pairs should get financial support but, since this is always to support children, why should their well-being depend on a State-approved, (rather than a genetic) 'bond' between their parents?
