Prosecuting gangs engaged in the repeated rape of vulnerable underage girls was considered off- limits in Rotherham and various other places until a few years ago, as was the prosecution of at least one now-deceased high profile media personality who used his position to target under-age girls. I hope the police will prioritise offences such as those, before spending too much time searching for wolf-whistlers and the like (though I condemn such behaviour), if the aim is to make society as safe as possible for women and girls, and indeed everyone.
