Oh my gosh. We know we (as a society) are in trouble when we focus on weakening the position of a certain class of people in society, rather than focussing on arming and helping the weaker members.

And that cr*p about "white male heterosexual privilege", you do realise that worldwide white males are actually in the minority.

And why do you think the indigenous people of this country should apologise for their privilege? My relatives worked damn hard over generations, including the women working 18 hour days during the industrial revolution (whilst looking after children, with no health care or benefits to prop them up) to help build and create the country and wealth we all enjoy today.

I'm a woman who was abused by her mother, and who had a wonderfully supportive and compassionate father. I'm currently supporting my son at the end of a nasty coercive relationship (with a woman).

Let's not delude ourselves that women are victims, and that "white males" are the problem.

Such ignorant and ill-informed comments make me so cross.
