May’s white paper proposes that we have a ‘common rulebook’ whereby the UK will agree to obey and apply EU law.

Paragraph 35, Section 4.4.2:
‘Where the UK had agreed to retain a common rulebook with the EU, the UK would commit by treaty that its courts would pay due regard to CJEU case law…’

I was confused by this because I thought not being bound by the CJEU was one of May's red lines.

Apparently, according to what I have read in the papers, May is terrified if we don't get a deal with Europe so the red lines are negotiable.
