This is an area I tend to stay far away from as I have very strong feelings about parents allowing children to suffer because the parents believe it would offend their chosen deity.

While I begrudgingly have a certain respect for the level of conviction exhibited by people with such extreme beliefs to chose to let their children suffer and think they’re doing the right thing, I morally find it absurd that religions which harm, or by inaction, allow harm are have these rights protected in law. I don’t expect any agreement, but I put it up there with FGM.
