I have to consider my client above all, and given the ridiculous amount of paperwork submitted by the 'McKenzie Friend' I referred to (for instance 20 page pleadings (more like a letter home to his Mum) sent to the Court addressed to 'dear Judge' and not served on us - we got a copy from the Court) it increased my client's costs by about 50% because I had to deal with all the ludicrous dross that he filed. Remember for very good reason, it is unlawful for a so called McKenzie Friend to conduct litigation. Someone should tell the DJs that (well I did but I was ignored).
