At A&E yesterday evening. No time estimate for how long it would take to see triage nurse, who, in fact was taking 20 mins per patient, slower than the rate at which they are coming in the front door. There was an illuminated sign stating the waiting sign after seeing the triage nurse was 4hrs 30 mins. Surely not - the number of people waiting was increasing , so the wait time must be increasing. Anyway the purpose of triage is to sort the cases for priority of treatment - is 4:30 a generic average, the longest or the shortest?
Eventually lost the will to live, and took broken bone home again.
