Oh, I see what you’ve done. Same mistake. You are mistaking justice to the public for lawyer’s fees or a saving to an insurer.

Justice to the public is nothing to do with either those two things. This is the problem with ‘access to justice’ being interpreted by parties with clear conflicts of interest.

Justice to the public will be the law of the land and a level playing field for those needing to claim for an injury sustained in an RTA. Any member of the public will have the same right to claim and for the same amount of scaled compensation. That will be the ‘justice’ available. And they will have access to it. The public will be just fine about lawyers not making money from that anymore. It works perfectly well in many other countries.
