My personal concern is that this firm allowed a presumably valued employee get to a degree of over work such that he is now off on medical leave of absence. Two underlying issues prevail; if this is how they treat senior staff then how much worse must it be for the minions. Secondly this smacks of a world of macho workaholism which ultimately breaks people and breaks families in many cases, it is very sad that the law appears to allow such workplace behaviour. I certainly would not want an “exhausted" individual representing my interests especially if I was paying the hourly fees this guy no doubt commands
