Exactly what are these "barriers" that everyone can apparently see preventing women and minorities etc from advancing? No- one ever spells out what the actually are and so far as I can tell the assumption is that all middle aged white males are involved in some grand conspiracy. I have never seen any evidence of bias against women etc in any of the numerous places that I have worked, but it seems entirely acceptable to promote active discrimination against white males such that being a white male now itself feels like a disadvantage
