I am but a primitive creature of the heath, so excuse my crushing ignorance, but to whom, if anybody, is the SRA accountable?

I suppose what I'm asking is this. If a firm of solicitors acted in the way the SRA had, you might reasonably expect the SRA to come down on them like a ton of vastly price-inflated bricks. So, who is going to administer to the SRA the kicking it so richly deserves?
