Mr Susskind appears to be standing at a rostrum in person addressing an audience of people who are actually present in the room. Surely that's a waste of his and their time as it adds nothing to the cogency, weight or value of his opinions? Why aren't they all at home watching it on skype? It would have saved them (the the journalist) the air fares (and carbon emissions) to Dubai to hear Mr Susskind praise the success of the Dubai International Financial Courts at an event organised by . . . the Dubai International Financial Courts.
