Interesting dilemma for the Law Society, as the representative body for solicitors: should it get involved in these cases and support an attempt to appeal to the Court of Appeal?

Having said that, the solicitors in question are probably so disgusted by the profession that they are happy to have nothing further to do with it. Dishonesty is utterly unacceptable, but so is a system in which the pressure is such that it causes non-dishonest junior fee-earners to behave in a dishonest manner.
